We Need Your Input!
We're just starting to think about what kind of "other" events we're going to be setting up over the course of the tweetup weekend and we'd love your input!
- Have you done something fun in Chicago and would love to do it again?
- Always wanted to see/do something?
No suggestion is too unusual! We've got Friday afternoon, Friday evening and Saturday afternoon to fill. As for outdoors activities, average high temp in Chicago for April is 60 degrees and average low is 42.
Add your suggestions below or head over to the forums to discuss it.

Things I'd be willing to look into/lead:
A Chicago photo walk (free!)
A kayaking trip on the Chicago River. Turnaround point is visible from our hotel. Cost is about $50/person. I've done this trip with this outfitter and he's reputable and skilled.
I know it's cliche, but Millennium Park is the bomb-diggity (as the kids like to say).
I like Millennium Park too, Autumn. And I always spend a lot of time taking photos of and staring at Lake Michigan.
Museum of Science and Industry, Navy Pier, Lincoln Park Zoo, Shedd Aquarium
I love all of the above!
People! Shamrock Shuffle is Sunday morning- 4.97 miles and I am running it and then over to Wishbone for Southern Eggs Benedict. Who is in? Where should I post this idea? I have low blood sugar right now, I might fall into my screen adhnaf;fdhoafdasdhfakldsf.q
Guys! You should totally sign up for the Shamrock Shuffle! I know a bunch of you are doing C25K training right now, so you'll be ready by then. Also, it wouldn't hurt to have a few extra people there to help drag my ass around the course.
You two are hilarious.
I really love museums; I am a huge nerd and love going to art museums. I don't know what protocol for setting up events is, but if anyone would like to go to the museum of Modern Art or any other museums with me, I'm down!
Last year, I ventured out on my own to a feminist-owned sex toy store called Early2Bed. I don't need to go back, but I just want you all to know that it was not at all shady, very clean, staffed by very pleasant and knowledgeable ladies, and very "hands-on." There are lots of samples and the staff (ahem) can help you with everything -- I mean answer all of your questions.
It is not "close" or "within easy walking distance" even, but it is worth your time if you are into that kind of thing.
Just a tip.
(See what I did there?)
